Over the Years
From Classroom to Click: How Berry Ensured Learning Continuity During MCO
During the COVID-19 pandemic and Malaysia’s Movement Control Order (MCO), Berry Online Tuition made the bold decision to shift entirely from physical classes to a fully online learning model.

This transition came with many challenges:

Would online tuition help students improve academically?

Could children stay focused in front of a screen?

Can teachers effectively monitor student participation?
To address these concerns, we adopted ClassIn, a professional online teaching platform equipped with Focus Mode, which prevents students from switching to other applications during class. In addition, we provide attendance reports to parents, allowing them to track their child's engagement and learning progress in real time.

📦 Pre-Class Material Delivery
Before online classes, all printed notes and exercises were sent to students via courier or post, ensuring every student was well-prepared before lessons began.
🎥 Compulsory Camera-On Policy
Students were required to keep their cameras on to verify attendance and ensure active participation throughout the class.

2024 – Launch of Berry Online Diploma & Full-Time Hiring
A historic milestone — Berry Online Diploma was officially launched, offering higher education pathways. We also began building our full-time educator team to support the program, ensuring consistent quality.
2023 – First Overseas Company Trip & Expansion
A year of rapid growth!
We hosted Berry's very first overseas company trip, celebrating the dedication of our team. This was also the year we hired over 100 part-time tutors across Malaysia to cater to our growing student base.

We had more than 20000 videos varying from primary year 1 to form 5 all subjects following the national syllabus for DIgi Apps, which serve 41.3 million Digi Users in Malaysia.
